Beauty School Curriculum
Cosmetology Course
The Cosmetology course content is a 10 month program with 420 hours of instruction in applied sciences and skills in hair sculpture, hair design, hair color, hair permanent waves, manicures, facials, make up, and pedicures. Planned clinical instruction in the applied sciences of 1130 hours will include experience in hair sculpture, hair design, hair color, hair permanent waves, manicures, facials, make up, pedicures and much more. Upon completion of your Cosmetology training you will receive the required number of hours by the state of Minnesota and be eligible to take the State Licensing Exam to become a licensed Cosmetologist.
Nail Technology Course
The Nail Technology course content is a 12 week program with 150 hours of instruction in applied sciences and skills in the nail conditioning, nail cleaning, nail reinforcing, nail shaping, nail coloring, enhancing of nails, and application of artificial nails. Planned clinical instruction in the applied sciences of 200 hours will include experience in nail conditioning, nail cleaning, nail reinforcing, nail shaping, nail coloring, and application of artificial nails. Upon completion of your training you will receive the required amount of practical experience and coordinated theory hours and be eligible to take the State Licensing Exam to become a licensed Manicurist.

Provides students with the Minnesota Cosmetology / Nail Technology / Esthiology Refresher course requirements needed for license renewal.
Cosmetology / Nail Technology / Esthiology Reactivation Courses
Provides students with the Minnesota Cosmetology / Nail Technology / Esthiology Reactivation course requirements needed for license reactivation.
Low Student Teacher Ratio
We have one of the lowest student teacher ratios in the area for a Minnesota beauty school. Having a low teacher to student ratio allows maximum time with each student to make sure class objectives are being understood. It is very important that each student is receiving the necessary skills needed to become a successful beauty professional.
